Scale And Trail® Crawler
The Mercedes-Benz G 63 AMG 6x6 represents a singular vision to create the boldest and toughest all-terrain vehicle ever. Traxxas captures the spirit and no-compromise approach of the Mercedes-Benz® G 63 AMG 6x6 with an officially licensed detailed scale replica built on the new TRX-6® platform. Six drive wheels, three T-Lock™ remote-locking differentials, portal axles, high/low transmission, 6 aluminum long-travel shocks, and a stunningly accurate body with brilliant LED lighting make this the most advanced and capable RC crawler ever to hit the trail.
Superior 6X6 Design
A fully independent intermediate axle puts an extra set of driving wheels where you need them most to power over obstacles that would otherwise be impossible. 6-wheel drive also allows greater traction to attack steeper inclines and more grip over loose and rocky surfaces.
Exceptional Body Detail
The TRX-6 Mercedes-Benz G 63 AMG 6x6 faithfully reproduces one of the most exclusive and recognizable all-terrain vehicles ever created. Chrome accents, molded trim, and finely detailed lighting elements highlight the rich metallic paint. Traxxas’ uncompromising attention to detail elevates the TRX-6 to the ultimate expression of beauty and brawn.
Factory-Equipped LED Lighting
Rugged and fully-waterproof, the preinstalled LED lighting blazes a path through the darkest night. Accurate scale details abound in the finely crafted headlights, taillights, and side marker lights. Even the roof visor is fitted with brilliant LED lighting. A dedicated power supply regulates the voltage for bright, consistent, and efficient lighting.
Innovation
The TRX-6 defies physics with radically innovative technology combined with precision engineering to create a completely new breed of scale crawler.
Radical Chassis Design
The TRX-6 chassis obliterates the status quo with a unique extended wheelbase design and six drive wheels for unrivaled traction and extreme capability. Climb higher and drive harder with a revolutionary chassis that looks as good as it performs.
Rigid Steel Frame
The heavy duty ladder frame chassis is built on single-piece steel rails that are lengthened to accommodate an extra drive axle. Extra bracing and crossmembers provide exceptional torsional rigidity to resist chassis twist under load.
Scale Details
Rich metallic paint, tinted windows, chrome accents, and molded trim pieces add extreme scale detail and authentic looks. Riding on unique wheels and tires, the TRX-6 Mercedes-Benz G 63 AMG 6x6 looks equally at home on the trail or the street.
T-Lock Remote Locking Differentials
Traxxas scores another RC first with three transmitter-operated locking differentials. Leave the differentials unlocked to take advantage of the TRX-6’s tight turning radius, even with 6-wheel drive and the long wheelbase. Lock just the front differential or lock all three differentials for extreme 6-wheel-drive traction. Sleeved micro cables control the differential action for scale appearance.
High/Low Range Transmission
When the going gets tough, shift into low range and all six wheels dig in for incredible torque. Shift into high range and the Mercedes-Benz G 63 AMG 6x6 transforms the desert floor into an off-road racetrack with massive roosts and 6-wheel power slides.
The Power Of Portals
Portal axles lift the truck at the wheels for huge center pumpkin ground clearance. In order to achieve the same clearance with straight axles, your tires would have to be over an inch taller than the tires on the TRX-6.
Torque Twist Eliminated
The portal axles use gear reduction at the wheels to virtually eliminate torque twist. The Titan 550 motor’s torque translates into straight, powerful, forward motion, rather than wasted energy twisting your rig right off the rocks.
GTS Aluminum Shocks
Six oil-filled coil-over GTS shocks deliver silky-smooth damping with threaded aluminum shock bodies for easy ride height adjustments. Specially calibrated rear springs allow full articulation of both rear axles independently for optimal traction on uneven surfaces.
3s Power System
The XL-5™ HV electronic speed control brings 3s LiPo capability for strong efficient running. The powerful 21T Titan® motor provides torque to tackle the steepest climbs and all-out speed on flat terrain. This efficient system provides up to 2 hours of run time with a Traxxas 3s 5000 mAh LiPo battery pack!
TQi Radio System With Cruise Control
The Traxxas TQi features our exclusive cruise control for long-distance treks. Set your speed using the transmitter and then use the multi-function knob to fine-tune it faster or slower. Add a Traxxas Link™ Wireless Module (part 6511, sold separately) to enhance your crawling experience with real-time telemetry capability, inclinometer gauges, and more!
Waterproof Electronics
The TRX-6 is fully waterproof, not “splash resistant.” There is a big difference. Traxxas’ patented innovation gives you the freedom to tackle creeks, snow, and mud without worrying about water in your electronics.
