Do you accept applications for RC racing sponsorship?
Traxxas is very much interested in RC racing, but is no longer accepting applications for individual racer sponsorship. We are making other efforts to promote racing that is fast, fun, and above all, inexpensive. The race should be on the RC track, not at the cash register. Our new products are designed to remove the "dollar factor" from racing. We want to encourage stock and unmodified classes of racing where the first time racer with an unmodified car would not have to compete against well-supported factory drivers. Factory sponsorships accomplish little more than escalating the cost of racing for the non-sponsored driver. We support racing where low-cost, equally-prepared cars will enable a good driver, rather than a big spender, to win races.
