Oil-Filled Ultra Shocks
Rustler’s oil-filled Ultra Shocks utilize X-ring technology for a perfect seal and super-smooth performance. They are fully tunable with a wide range of oils, springs, and pistons. Features include pressure bladders for air/oil separation and spring clips to precisely change the ride height and spring pre-load. They can be renewed in minutes with our inexpensive rebuild kits.
Waterproof Receiver Box
Rustler’s patented sealed receiver box gives you the freedom to drive where you want, when you want. The antenna and servo wires route neatly through a special water-tight seal. A blue O-ring seals the receiver box to protect the receiver from water.
XL-5 Waterproof ESC
The waterproof XL-5™ electronic speed control packs powerful safety and convenience features like three separate drive profiles, low-voltage detection for LiPo batteries, and Thermal Shutdown Protection to prevent overheating. Traxxas' patented Training Mode™ reduces power by 50%, making it easier for new drivers to develop their control skills before unleashing full-power.
TQ 2.4 GHz Radio System
The TQ’s advanced programming provides long-range control with smooth, glitch-free performance. 2.4 GHz technology allows you to race multiple vehicles side by side without interference. The TQ’s ergonomic design is comfortable for all-day driving with an internal antenna that is impervious to damage.
Easy Access Battery Compartment
Rustler’s battery hold-down accommodates 6 or 7-cell flat packs, 7-cell hump packs, or 2-cell LiPo batteries for maximum versatility. An optional battery expansion kit, part 3725X (sold separately), accommodates oversized batteries.
Clipless Body Latches
Rustler’s innovative clipless body uses secure latches for quick and easy removal. No posts, no clips-just drop the body onto the chassis and snap it into place for a secure hold. When it’s time to change the battery, depress the tabs under the wheel wells and lift to access the chassis in just seconds.
High Torque Steering Servo
A high-speed racing truck needs a powerful steering servo for responsive performance, and Traxxas delivers with the 2056 high-torque servo. This waterproof steering servo uses O-ring seals to keep the fun going when things get wet. Waterproof for all-weather action, the 2056 steering servo provides 80 oz-in of steering muscle.
Durable One-Piece Camber Links
Durable one-piece camber links are perfect for bashing because they maintain proper suspension geometry and never require adjustments. Captured rod ends provide unmatched durability, and they won't pop off.
Hex Hardware
Rustler's hex-drive hardware provides a more positive and secure connection than other fasteners. The black-oxide coating provides a rust resistant high-tech look and feel.
Tube-Style Front Bumper
Rustler’s rugged tube-style front bumper helps ward off crash damage to protect the chassis. The bumper also features bosses to mount accessory LED lights.

Motor Mount with Integrated Cooling Channels
The sealed gearbox protects the transmission components from dirt and rocks. The motor plate’s finned cooling channels allow the Titan's internal fan to pull air through the motor for superior cooling.
Magnum 272 Transmission
The Magnum 272’s™ all metal gears ride on ultra-smooth sealed ball bearings. The bulletproof Torque-Control™ slipper clutch and metal transmission gears are ready to handle any power system upgrade including the extreme Velineon®
Torque-Control Slipper Clutch
Semi-metallic pads and finned aluminum alloy pressure plates dissipate heat and provide consistent traction. The semi-metallic friction material remains stable across a wide temperature range to provide smooth, linear engagement. Spur gears can be removed and replaced without altering the slipper adjustment.
Planetary Gear Differential
The planetary gear differential uses hardened steel internal gears for maximum strength during rigorous off-road bashing. This type of differential requires virtually no maintenance, and its efficient design puts maximum tire-shredding power to the wheels.
