The Traxxas TORC series heads back to Crandon International Raceway for rounds 11 and 12 on Labor Day weekend. If the fall Crandon races are anything like rounds nine and ten in Bark River, fans are in store for a fender-bashing brawl to the finish! Fans can also watch the action stream live on their computer, laptop, or mobile device at TORCseries.com. All the action will air later in the season as “The Off-Road Championship” on Discovery Network’s Velocity channel.
The Traxxas/Jenkins Brothers Racing team will be there in full force after a strong showing at Bark River. Both Mike and Mark Jenkins each had a second-place finish in PRO 4x4, Luke Johnson got his first win in Traxxas PRO Light, Andrew Caddell held on to his points lead, and the rest of the Traxxas drivers brought their A-games. The other teams will do their best to stop the Traxxas/JBR juggernaut at Crandon, so you know there's going to be some fender banging. Will the Mark Jenkins-Scott Douglass rivalry rear its head? Will Mike Jenkins improve on his second place finish from Bark River? Come find out! Expect all of this and MORE at Crandon! There's racing Friday afternoon, and all day Saturday and Sunday.
In addition to the high-flying action on the track, you’ll find plenty to do and see as Traxxas, The Fastest Name in Radio Control, comes to town. Take a test drive on the Try-Me Track, meet the pro drivers, and visit the Traxxas model display. RC owners can bring their Traxxas Slash or Slash 4X4 to compete in our TORC RC Challenge! Fans can bring any other Traxxas vehicle and drive it on the RC track as well!
Make sure that if you are in the area you stop by the Traxxas TORC races. If you can’t swing by, stay up-to-date on Facebook.com/TraxxasRacing and the Traxxas Racing Twitter page. We will see you there!
