Traxxas’ Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki riders Dean Wilson and Justin Hill put their determination on full display at the third round of the 2013 Monster Energy Supercross 250SX East series, which was held this past Saturday at the Edward Jones Dome in St. Louis, Mo.
Dean Wilson - Cool and Calculated
Wilson started the night strong by winning his heat race and earning a good gate pick for the main. He got off to a mid-pack start in the main, but held strong and navigated his way through the field to earn a well-deserved second-place. He is currently only one point out of the lead in 250SX East point standings.
Justin Hill - Never Back Down
Hill earned an impressive second-place finish in his heat race, but an incident early in the main forced him to the back of the pack. By the time he remounted he was nearly one lap down from the rest of the field, but he never gave up and charged back to a 16th place finish.
Traxxas again brought its exciting radio controlled stunt demonstrations to wow the fans in the pit party AND on the Supercross track’s Thor triple jump. The Traxxas E-Revo Brushless Edition was easily clearing the big double and was nearly able to land the triple! Fans got to interact with the pro RC drivers and the Traxxas Girls in the Pit Party. And two lucky fans won Traxxas DTS-1 Timing System radio controlled short course truck to take home with them!
Up Next - Daytona Supercross
Wilson and Hill will now make their way to the fourth round of the 2013 Monster Energy Supercross 250SX East series, which will be held this Saturday, March 9, at the Daytona Motor Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida
