(06/11/12) Thunder Valley in Bristol Tennessee is the site for race number 10 of the NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series this weekend, June 15th-17th. Known as one of the most beautiful and unique drag tracks in the world, Thunder Valley is literally cut through a mountain range and has become a fan favorite since its first national event was run back in 2001. Which Traxxas John Force Racing driver will lead the way in Bristol is still unclear, but Traxxas will be there to find out!
Robert Hight took John Force Racing to the winner circle in last year and John Force did the same in 2010. Could Robert Hight take home the Thunder Valley Wally for a second year in a row or will one of the other Traxxas John Force Racing Drivers steal the honor? Mike Neff has had one of the quickest Funny Cars in the category as of late and Courtney has been looking to Force her way into the winner circle! John Force and Robert Hight will also be running special Elvis paint schemes in Bristol this weekend. Remember that only one spot remains open on the Traxxas Nitro Shootout board in Funny Car and two in Top Fuel, so the pressure is on for drivers to win a race and qualify for the prestigious Traxxas Nitro Shootout.
This weekend is sure to be an action packed one, and Traxxas will be on-scene to keep you updated live on Facebook and Twitter. Traxxas will also have their full line of RC cars, support staff, and mobile hobby store. Fans will have the chance to drive a Traxxas Slash, a Traxxas 1/16 Rally car, and watch our professional RC drivers demonstrate the agility, power, and strength of our Traxxas vehicles! Fans can stop by and check out what Traxxas has to offer, and you never know when you may catch Courtney Force hanging around the Traxxas semi! We hope to see you at the Thunder Valley Nationals this weekend!
