New larger, meatier, all-terrain Talon™ EXT tires provide superior off-road traction and performance. The aggressive tread pattern features a tougher rubber compound and thicker sidewalls to better handle punishing 6s wheel speeds. New 6-spoke black wheels are engineered for maximum strength along with a rugged, menacing stance.
The E-Revo’s double wishbone design maintains proper suspension geometry throughout the entire range of travel. These high-tech suspension arms were originally developed with finite element analysis to find smarter ways to resist breakage. Today they are even beefier with more material in almost every dimension and tougher new composites that further resist impact damage, even in cold weather.
The suspension utilizes thicker 5mm steel links with larger rod ends and more thread engagement to make this the toughest E-Revo suspension ever.
Another hallmark of the E-Revo, the functional rear wing position is optimized to reduce drag while still providing valuable downforce for stability. A rigid cross-braced support allows multiple wing adjustments and provides ample support in case of rollovers. The wing also makes a great wheelie stop when exerting full 6s power!
The innovative chassis design incorporates protected battery enclosures into the sides of the chassis for an ultra-clean look. Quick release battery doors mount directly to the chassis, so there are no clips or hold downs to lose. The battery compartments have been beefed up to practically eliminate flex and provide more secure battery door latching.
Keyed, adjustable L-braces inside the battery compartments position the batteries in multiple positions from front to rear for precise weight bias tuning. A top-mounted, spring-loaded clip holds the battery packs securely at the lowest point to keep the CG as low as possible.
The battery enclosures are vented with artfully designed intakes and exits to provide cooling air to the batteries.
E-Revo’s fun is not limited by mud, snow, or water. A sealed receiver box with easy access plug protects the TQi TSM receiver for all-weather adventure. Dirty truck? Just hose it off. The ESC, servos, and receiver box are fully waterproof.
A stronger and thicker 5mm blue-anodized aluminum motor plate uses larger hardware to keep the motor fixed in place during the hardest bashing sessions.
The transmission sits low in the chassis to keep the center of gravity as low as possible. A new, more compact gearbox design is optimized for E-Revo duty. The motor is positioned as close to the centerline of the chassis as possible to neutralize the left/right chassis bias.
E-Revo delivers tight, fast steering action through its unique dual-servo system. With a total of 250 oz.-in. of tire-turning torque on hand, E-Revo steers with precise authority. An updated center bellcrank provides more steering throw for even better turning response.
Large diameter oil-filled GTR shocks attach to the progressive rocker arms for silky-smooth damping. Threaded aluminum bodies feature collars for easy spring pre-load adjustment. Silicone bladders and X-ring seals prevent leaks for long-lasting performance.
The front and rear bulkheads were completely reengineered to provide clearance for the massively larger ring and pinion gears. The new design is much more rigid, capturing the differential in an upper and lower bulkhead configuration that allows strengthened integration with the chassis and skidplates, as well as easier access for cleaning and service.
Larger, stronger axle carriers accommodate bigger bearings and huge 8mm hardened steel stub axles. The pivot ball design allows extreme suspension movement and easy camber adjustments. The pivot-ball caps have been refined to help prevent loosening. Silicone rubber seals protect against dirt for smooth, reliable operation.
E-Revo takes a nod from X-Maxx with its hardened steel CV driveshafts equipped with massive 8mm stub axles. The hardened steel drive cups mount to larger 8mm hardened steel differential outputs. These driveshafts were originally engineered for ultimate strength in the X-Maxx and are now right at home in E-Revo. Now you can experience all the performance and fun 6s power has to offer without holding back.
Continuing with the theme of ultimate 6s performance and fun, E-Revo’s center driveline was dramatically strengthened with larger diameter shafts in front, increased spline engagement and beefed-up yokes.
The Cush Drive absorbs drivetrain shocks with a custom-shaped elastomer damper housed between the spur gear and the drive hub. Under extreme load (such as hard, high-traction acceleration), the elastomer flexes to dissipate shock without interrupting power flow. The result is instant acceleration with no wasted power.
The Torque-Biasing Center Drive absorbs shocks to improve driveline durability. The Center Drive also distributes power to all four wheels for mind-bending four-wheel drive acceleration without the side effects of a typical center differential. Center differentials allow tires in the air to balloon uncontrollably, while the Torque-Biasing Center Drive allows wheelies off the line with seamless power distributed to all four wheels.
E-Revo is equipped with Metric Mod-1 gear pitch which translates into larger, more durable gear teeth and greater power handling. E-Revo’s gears are a full 12mm wide to spread drive loads over a greater area to extend wear and increase efficiency.
These incredibly tough new 4-gear differentials are similar to those used in X-Maxx and feature larger 8mm output shafts, oversized bearings, and beefed-up spider gears for reliable performance, stunt after stunt.
17mm splined aluminum hex hubs provide unsurpassed torque handling. The larger 8mm stub axle utilizes a beefier 3mm pin retained by a separate set screw.
An innovative fixed gear adjustment system holds the pinion/spur gear mesh perfectly in place, even during the most extreme driving conditions.
