Velineon Brushless Technology and Power Cell LiPo Batteries
Aerodynamic drag increases as the square of speed. That means doubling speed from 20 mph to 40 mph isn’t a matter of applying double the power—you need four times the horsepower. Every additional mph exponentially increases the amount of power required. To deliver it, Traxxas developed Velineon brushless motor technology. Compared to conventional brushed motors, Velineon brushless motors deliver higher rpm and vastly increased horsepower with greater efficiency and superior durability.

You can dial up as much or as little TSM assistance as you like right from the transmitter, or turn TSM off completely and test your skill.
