Genuine Traxxas aluminum components bring superior stiffness, rock-solid durability, and custom-truck dazzle to your TRX-4 and TRX-6 models. The motor mount and all the essential axle components including portal housings, mounts, caster blocks, and hex hubs are available in premium 6061-T6 aluminum, computer-machined for perfect fit and vividly anodized in red, green, and blue. Or, go for a more subtle look with a charcoal gray finish. Each aluminum component installs easily in place of the standard molded-composite part, and maintains the factory geometry for proven TRX performance with the strength and precision of machined aluminum..
Any experienced trail-trucker will tell you: adding weight low and up front on your rig improves climbing and crawling performance. Traxxas makes it easy to give your TRX truck an edge with machined-brass portal weights that fit over the optional machined-aluminum outer portal housings to add 2.4 ounces to the front axle. This places the weight in the ideal location for maximum performance benefit, and the static weights eliminate the negative effects of weighted wheels.
Traxxas takes off-road realism to a new high with Pro Scale LED lighting—the only LED system engineered specifically for TRX-4 and TRX-6 models, with remote configuration and control capability using the optional Traxxas Link Wireless Module and free Traxxas Link app. When you add the LED lighting kit for your model, the brake lights glow and white reverse lights switch on automatically when you brake and activate reverse at the transmitter. The turn signals flash when commanded by a flick of the steering wheel, then self-cancel as you pull away and straighten the wheels. You can even activate hazard lights! Add the Traxxas Link Wireless Module and Traxxas Link app, and you can customize your Pro Scale LED setup via your iOS or Android smart device. The Pro Scale system works with Traxxas accessory light kits as well as the factory-installed lights in the TRX-4 Sport with Traxx and TRX-6 Mercedes-Benz G63 and of course, it’s waterproof.
The Long Arm Lift kit is engineered specifically to fit 2.2″ wheels and tires without compromising suspension or steering geometry and performance. Everything you need is in the kit, including pre-assembled suspension links, longer T-Lock™ cables, extra-long GTS shocks, and even a new servo mount for perfect Panhard bar alignment and a 10-tooth pinion to gear your truck for the greater rollout of 2.2″ tires. The kit is offered with powder-coated links and anodized shocks in blue and red for a custom look, or keep your build all-business with black links and silver shocks. After you install the kit, complete the high-lift transformation with Method 105 2.2″ beadlock wheels and Canyon Trail tires—like we did with our Maximum Mud Bronco.
The Pro Scale Winch is a realistic, fully functional, high-power accessory that you can put to work on the trail. The powerful motor delivers up to ten pounds of pulling power, and there’s no need to access the receiver to complete the single-wire hookup. The rugged steel hook deploys on four feet of high-strength line to help your TRX 4X4 conquer impossible obstacles and pull lesser trucks out of trouble. The fob-style remote extends and retracts the line, and you can even customize the Pro Scale Winch with an anodized-aluminum fairlead in your choice of five colors. You can install the Pro Scale Winch directly on the 2021 Ford Bronco; for other TRX trucks, install the winch-compatible accessory bumper for your model.
When TRX-4 adventure includes mud, snow, and stream-crossings, it’s important to dry off your truck to prevent hardware corrosion. For extra anti-rust protection (and a great high-contrast look against your truck’s black components), install the TRX-4 Stainless Steel Screw Kit. The kit replaces all the standard black-oxide screws and pins with premium stainless steel fasteners, and the reusable container keeps the hardware organized as you swap black screws for stainless.
All TRX-4 and TRX-6 models feature metal gears throughout the drivetrain for durability and long life as the trail miles pile up. For even greater strength and drivetrain-tuning versatility, the axles’ hard-working ring and pinion gears can be upgraded to the premium steel versions, machined from solid billet for the ultimate in precision and long wear. You can stick with the stock gear ratio for all-around trail trucking fun, or use the overdrive and underdrive gear sets to overdrive front axle by 11, 13, or 27% for the ultimate in comp-style climbing and crawling performance. Outfit your TRX-4 Sport as a fully loaded adventure rig with the highly detailed Expedition Rack. The rugged rack system installs securely to the Sport body using reinforced mounts to maintain your truck’s durability as you raise its realism, and a full set of scale accessories are included. You get a shovel, axe, fire extinguisher, high-lift jack, and traction boards, all installed securely on integrated mounts so there’s no chance they’ll come loose on the trail. The Expedition Rack is also LED-ready with mounting positions for the #8087 light bar and #8086 scene light kit.
Comp-style rock-crawling requires high-torque servos to muscle the front wheels with authority. Traxxas offers two premium servo options that go above and beyond the already-stout 125 oz-in torque rating of the TRX-series’ 2075X servo to deliver extreme steering performance and precision. The High-Torque 330 and High-Torque 400 both feature full metal gears, dual ball bearings, and an aluminum mid-case to dissipate heat. And of course, both are waterproof. The 330 servo uses a coreless motor to unleash 330 oz-in of torque while the 400 servo puts a brushless motor to work and delivers 400 oz-in of wheel-wrangling power. When you’re out to conquer soft sand, snow, or mud, Deep-Terrain Traxx are the ultimate TRX-4 accessory. Front- and rear-specific track units replace your TRX-4’s wheels with wide, rugged rubber tracks that “float” on soft terrain and dig in with tall paddle treads.
