The C-hubs maintain precise steering alignment and geometry, while the steel pin bushing inserts minimize wear. Beefy hardened-steel suspension pins are retained with locknuts for extra security.

Sledge’s C-hubs include integrated steel bushings that provide a smooth, long-wearing surface for the steering kingpins, while also improving strength and durability. Rather than self-tapping directly into the composite steering blocks, the kingpin screws thread into steel nuts that eliminate the possibility of tear-out in an impact. Hardened-steel suspension pins join the C-hubs to the arms, and locknuts secure the pins. Attention to details like this give Sledge run-after-run reliability other trucks can’t match.
