Begin by cleaning the body with a soft microfiber towel to remove any dust or fingerprints.
When removing decals from the backing sheet, try to touch the adhesive side as little as possible.
Cut off a piece of the non-stick backing sheet to help apply the decals. This will allow you to carefully position and place the decal in the desired location.
Use a flexible spreader to smooth out the decals and remove any air bubbles.
A mixture of soapy water can be used to help apply decals. Spray the body with a thin film of water to help slide the decal into place.
Wipe away the excess water on top. Use the flexible spreader to smooth out any bubbles and remove any water from underneath the decal.
Use a bone folder to smooth out decals in hard-to-reach places where the flexible spreader won’t fit.
Once all the decals are applied, use a heat gun on low heat to gently warm the decals. Heating the decals increases flexibility to further smooth out any bubbles or creases.
Now it’s time to show off your ride. Be sure to post pictures of your custom creation on the Traxxas Facebook page
