Beat the Creek 2019
Kentucky's Premier RC Truck Event

Beat the Creek—that’s the name of Kentucky’s premier rc crawler event. You better be prepared to beat the creek when you enter this family-fun RC fest! The action went down in Maysville, and the weekend-long gathering saw record-setting turnout with 348 registered drivers and over 500 RC fans on-site to enjoy the challenging terrain and watch scale RC off-roading at its finest. And maybe even take home some loot; with over $11,000 in prizes from more than 50 sponsors (including Traxxas, of course), Creek-beaters stood a pretty good chance of scoring free stuff.
In addition to 84 acres and miles of trails, the G6-style event included an “RC Fun Barn,” bonfire, night run, food vending and free camping—nice. If you can make it to Maysville next year, make sure to bring your TRX-4®. And if you’re passing through this October, you can hit the Rocktober Fun Run. Follow event organizer Joe Hauke for Rocktober details and Beat the Creek 2020 updates. We’ll see you there!

You’re supposed to be setting up the Traxxas tent.” We couldn’t resist hitting a few rocks as soon as we parked.

Fortunately we got the tent set up just before the rain came down.
Even with a little rain, Kentucky is a beautiful place and we met a ton of cool RC truckers and their families. Well over 300 trail-truckers came out to Beat the Creek. We're talking about over 1,500 pounds of trail-trucks and 2,500 volts of battery power!

We brought the full TRX-4 lineup

Pets welcome, plastic or otherwise
There were plenty of man-made obstacles to go along with all the challenges Mother Nature cooked up herself. FYI if you like this look: the TRX-4 is wearing an Adventure body and Method beadlocks with blue rings. We also got a chance to try out our LED light kit. Tunnel obstacles were a great opportunity to show off Traxxas candlepower.

Tunnel time!

Lights on!

Slippery slope? No Problem! TRX-4 Sport says, "I got this."

The RC Fun Barn looked spooky, but more than lived up to its name.

TRX-4 Ford Bronco, riding high. Who says you need a jump to get altitude?

We could caption this, “Just horsin’ around,” but that would be too easy.

Kudos to the team for a great event!
See You at Beat the Creek 2020!
