Summit only 1 side of the rear wheel turns

    Hello,
Lately, I noticed only one side of the rear wheel turns. All three wheels turns , except the right side of the rear wheel. I am not sure what is the problem.
Any ideas what maybe the causing this.
    thank you in advance

I think your rear diff is toast. Likely you stripped the gears inside the diff. You can buy a rebuild kit.

Its possible that the bearings on that wheel have siezed up causing the power to go to the opposite wheel. Thats why im asking if it can be spun by hand

Your local hobby store should have everything you need or check ebay.

But as Billgates1234 mentioned you would be better off upgrading to LEM (leading edge machining) aluminum diff cups and hardened spider gears.
Ive been running them for almost a year now with Mamba Monster/2200kv on 6s and they are holding up great! And I havent heard of anyone being able to break them yet.

Does it also spin the drive shaft, if it doesn't then it
could be a pin in your hex hub.

Try again. Search for "lem summit"
They have a few on there but not the sets with the hardened spider gears.

Email them and ask if they will have any available soon.

Also it would be a good idea if you disassembe yours to see exactly what is broke incase its one of the outdrives. You may need to pick up a few parts from traxxas even if you go with the LEM stuff

gears might be ok, have you ever shimmed the diffs? if not they might just need that, is there any odd clicking noises when any wheels turn?

possibly cheaper and stronger would be the LST2 diff swap.....then you could put some 8s too the wheels......

Might be a long short, But i have a simlar problem,

when all 4 wheels are off the ground the front 2 and left rear all spin freely, The right does not, usless use the diff lock,

I have looked at this and what seem to be happening is the drive shaft is rubbing on the top of the A arm, If i push that side up slightly (as would sit on the ground) seem to run fine,

Fix, you could need to change diff oil, or dont run when off the ground,
