    I need some specialized equipment

I stripped a grub screw on my mip axles. In my area you can't find a screw extractor or a reverse drill bit to save your life. my current attempt is to simply drill the screw out. The problem. My dremel and drill press with my current drill bits don't like the metal that it is made out of. I don't know if it's stainless or just hardened.

Does anyone know where I can find a tungsten carbide drill bit?

Most likely hardened steel, that stuff is hard to cut. Drill bits won't even touch it unless they are cobalt or carbide tip drill bits and you pretty much have to order those and they are pretty expensive. You don't have a harbor freight near by? They sell the cheap version of the grabbit screw extractor kit and they work very good.

Could you take it to an engineering or machining shop and have them do it for you?
