    LIPO: Hard or soft case

    have a Son Uva digger and thinking of upgrading to LIPO/Bruchless. is hard case or soft better for this vehicle?

    Lots of people prefer the hard case as they are stronger.
    How ever when they are tied nicely on the truck, they stick well on the truck without flipping off or been touched unless a sharp hit upside down onto the batteries, very rare though with experience in driving.
    Use velcro battery straps, they hold very well.

    I use hard care just for the peace of mind, my stampede (almost the same minus color , body, and tires) it is all over the gravel and what not, so I like being able to know its safe and won't get punctured. If it was in a case like in a revo or summit, then i wouldn't care what it is

    I have both types. I bought the hard case for racing otherwise I wouldn't care which I had.
    My Black & Blue Rally is faster than your color...

    I prefer a soft case. seems to fit easily in tight spaces lol have 3 hard cases too though

    I use hard case. For my mini I use soft case.
    60% of the time I'm right every time.
