I have always liked the Stock Rally Body as it reminds me of a Peugeot 208

I have the Same Orange Rally body and a clear one to be painted!

Hey ViperZ, I was just on Youtube browsing GT8 videos and come across on this video which seems like the same body and paint job.

Here is one that slipped my mind, Parma Rally. I'm not totally crazy about it, but painted right it could be okay... It's different enough.

This is one of my 1/16 rally. I wish they made this body for his big brother.

I, too, think the stock body is pretty darn good and as mentioned above, reminiscent of Peugot with some touches of the older Renaults...

This looks reaaly awesome, nice aggressive paint scheme and front end detailing! I can almost hear the snarling exhaust bouncing off the trees!!

I've always dug that 1/16 Protoform Tornado body. Why does all the 1/16, 1/12 and 1/10 chassis get the real scale looks and the 1/8ths get the ugly Ogres?!?!

How far you want to go depends on you. I would say to do it right you need:

    • Shorter Bumpers, Rally or other
    • Rally Body Mounting Kit
    • 17mm Hub Adapters
    • 1/8 17mm Buggy Wheels, Tires your choice
    • Optional - Protrac Extended Arms to make the stance proper on the wider GT8 bodies

There are other things but that would be the minimum

You can also look at the STRC GT8 Conversion kit if you don't care to piece it together

Looks like they may have stopped offering it. I see they are still offering the Slash to 1/8 buggy conversion.

I suppose that all depends on you.. Will it look bad, probably not so much when rolling, in pictures however when you can focus on the static image, it may not look idea. Performance, it probably doesn't affect too much, as its more the way it is, but an increased track would only improve performance, I think.

Here is another body that should fit the Rally chassis, Team Associated Pro Rally, specs are said to be Wheel base = 324mm, width = 296mm

Here is another option. Proline Desert Raid. I picked one up for my Ultimate, but it would probably look just as good on a Rally.

    Thanks Humay!

For the Hummer and Jeep that would be nice too. About the only one that comes to mind is the Traxxas Dakar. It's sort of Hummer Like.

Yes, I have that body on my Rally. Go to picture gallery, page 2, post #56. It fits very well and fits even better with a cut up XO-1 diffuser set on the chassis too.
