    Charging

    Hi guys,
I haven't used my Revo for a good couple of years and I'm just bringing her back to life. I'm concerned that I may have left the batteries for too long. The green light stops flashing almost immediately when charging both the car and the EZ START battery. Will I have to buy new throughout. What's the easiest way to check the battery condition? Many thanks

What kind of batteries? Alkaline, nicd or nimh? You may be able to revive them with a decent charger by cycling them from discharge to charge a few times. If not, time to buy new. Though if they were sitting for a couple years I would get new. Don't want a runaway into a garage, tree or pond.

I managed to cycle the battery in the car by running it flat by turning the steering servo. Charging and then repeating, it seems fine now. I've purchased a new traxxas battery for the EZ start 7.2volts. What's the easiest way to discharge the EZ start batteries?
