take it to your local hobby shop and they'll do it...probably for a small fee. Mines is charging me only $5 to solder one connector.

The esc wires comes with solder steady on them. You need to put you iron on the traxxas metal tabs to heat it up then press your solder on to the tab. Heat the tab, not the meat. Then put your esc wire into the solder on the tab. Wait for the solder on the wire to melt. Then take off your iron and it will harden. Check out squirrels videos on YouTube. He has one on how to do traxxas connectors

I think duramaxin intended to write "metal" and not "meat".

Something you have to be very careful about is not letting the solder go past the solder line.

Yes, no solder past the line or they will never click in place...

I gave up on this. I do the best I can, then trim everything up with a file and a dremel a little at a time until it clicks into the housing properly.

I just c-clamp a Popsicle stick tightly across that line, and no issues...

I was hungry... yes I ate it.

    How to solder trx connectors

Put foil on the part of the metal tab that you DONT want solder to go onto. Solder won't flow or stick to the foil. You'll get a perfect line. Helps to tape the little tab to a scrap block of wood or something also. Just to keep it from scooting on you.
Strip the wires to exact length, tin wires, tin metal tabs, hold tab and wire together, apply heat. Solder flows. Done.
