SO, independent up front, and solid out back? Could you post up the parts used, and a basic plan for the suspension? Looks sweet so far, and like the chassis design.

That thing looks huge to me maybe because of the tires. What is the scale for this. I'm guessing 1/8 or bigger.
    Did you say Traxxas?

    Yes with or without lipos.

I 'm going for 1/10 Rockracer setup.. Gonna use old kinds of Traxxas parts. The front is going to be made using my 2wd rear suspension and a eMaxx dff I put in a Slash 4x4 housing.. Using the 4x4 steering I already had for my 2wd and the old bulk head I first used for desing and then cut up to put a bottom on my diff. I a also cut up my alu tranny to support the motor and slipper. The rear axle is a welded up alu Revo diff housing in wich I am gonna use my second eMaxx diff. I bought the pair on the Dutch Marketplace. I looking at a Telluride body right now, wich, ofcourse, is gonna meet the sissors, so I am going for a relativly short wheelbase around 300mm, a Telluride is 275 so I dont want to go to long. So I got al lot of work up ahead.

I want to be as low budget as possible so thats why I want to use my "old" parts and make some stuff myself. But I 'm not compromising on reliability or performance.. It should be strong and fast when I got It up and running..

Can somebody get me up to speed with that rear end? How strong is it, wide is it, axles, can you spool the diff, bearings in the ends? I have something in the works that this would work perfectly. Anybody?

Was it easy to weld the revo diff case to the tubes? Was there any distortion after welding?

    Sorry for responding sooooo late..

I had somebody weld the tubes, it was not that easy because of how the diif case is made and then coated.
I have to do some minor sanding to refit the bearings because the heat worked the case.

For shafts I 'm making something myself, gonna connect the diff to driveshaftts of a Tamiya Lunchbox, Hornet etc.
I dont know how wide it's gonna be because I first wanna finish the front and then fit the rear.

I will post some pictures when I have made some real progress. I cut up an secondhand Slash 4x4 chassis and I'm gonna get me some parts to finish the front, and chassis.

So I decided to change the way I wanted to do my build so I can make some progress.., and I actually did.
Bought a secondhand 4x4 chassis an some other parts en cut them up en stuck them together again on a chassis support that wil connect to my Wraitrh cage.

Modified the wratih Chassis and now I am getting somehwere..

Did some more tinkering and I got the front of my driveline in.. Have to adjust the pinion but it is ready to go..
Put in a LiPo and weighed the hole thing and I was kinda supprissed. It is lighter then I thoughed it would be so by the time I got the wheels, spare and the body on, It might even be around 4Lbs wich I did not expect.
