Problem with purchased KB VXL 1/16

    Hi All
Today I obtained a KB traxxas which is not behaving.

I out in a single battery, connect it & power on. The green LED comes on, but after a few moments it goes to a red dim LED colour.

    Tried another battery... Same result.

Any ideas what the problem could be? It's not even hot as I have been unable to use it.

The person who sold it to me has been less than helpful.

Plugged new battery in. ESC green indicator for 10 seconds then goes red. I have to disconnect battery to power off.

    Hopefully you can see this!
Red light comes on after 10 seconds or immediately comes on if receiver is turned on

Just to clarify in case I have not made it clear the car does not Excelerator forward reverse and there is no steering left or right!

Is absolutely nothing. The batteries are in the control unit but I am at a loss as to what is wrong :-(

What type of batteries are you using?
With great brushless comes great responsibility.

Just standard traxxas VXL batteries ... Not Lipo! But I have found out that if I disconnect the servo.... Light stays on... Moves forward.... Backwards fine! Plug it in.... Nothing works!

Many people have problems with the stock servo causing all sorts of problems, a good idea would be to switch to a different brand of servo.

Thanks. Looks like servo us the problem. Motor is seized up now! Wired in an alternative and seems to work just fine. So will go ahead and order a replacement!
    Appreciate the feedback
