Well kind of....I was out with the Alias at about dusk, my favorite time to fly it and had it up pretty high just cruising around when this HUGE Crow comes swooping in and flying circles around my Alias. I started decreasing altitude slowly and it kept circling the Alias but making it's circles tighter and tighter. Has it got closer to the Alis I could tell just how big this bird was and figured it could take my Alias out no problem. I started turning the lights on and off to try and scare it away but that almost seemed to peak it's interest in the Alias. The Crow then kind of made a big circle getting some distance from the Alias then headed straight for it. When it was clear it was going to nail the Alias I hit the button and did a flip...that scared the bird which gave the KKAAA sound they make and flew away.
My son lost a foam plane to a Crow attack a few months back so I have no doubt they can and will take an RC aircraft out of the sky, although I have to think it would not like the wirling rotors of a Quad like the Alias.

Hahaha I can totally understand. I had mine up pretty high in the air and when I slowly started coming down while spinning like a ufo, a crow comes out of no where and swoops down to try and go for it. I was able to left ot drop low enough for him to not want to go for a second try but boy it was quite a worry to think he could grab and go with our lovely Alias!

If that did happen just hold it at full throttle. I don't think the bird will mind. LOL
MERV, Broken Alias.
Crows are scary intelligent and they remember well. It's going to watch for a flip next time and try to adapt.
I'm not krazy. My mother had me tested.
I don't know what I'd do yet, I haven't flown my Alias outside . . . that'll have to wait for warmer weather.
On the other hand, it's fun to imagine turning the tables on a crow or other bird that's aggressively 'investigating' my Alias, trying to chase it instead.
I've had a few birds come and "investigate" my aircraft while I was doing lazy circuits. They go away as soon as they find out they can't keep up.
