    Musicians?

Anybody? Mainly a lap slide guitar picker these days (hence the handle) but I can get around on a flattop, electric, banjo, mandolin, or hold a decent beat on a kit (no fills LOL). Curious if anybody else here likes to make noise other than crashing into things.

I can make noise on a bass or 6-string, but it is just that... noise. My kid on the other hand is in a Pat Benatar tribute band on the drums and they just had a performance at a "pretty big" event here in Dallas.

So you don't beat that thang, P-nut? Between the avatar and the nix handle i couldnt help it Lol. Pretty cool for the young'n. Pat Bene, eh? Would never have thought there'd be much demand for one.

Jerry, that is great! I wish I had followed my schooling for music. I learned quick how to fake it and get my A, which, in the long run was just a cheap shortcut that kept me from getting much better.

No I'm not talented enough to play anything that well. Here's a vid of the band this past weekend.

The singer is 13, the other 3 are 15. They have been together almost a year now. This was their first big performance. They played on the "fan" stage at Jack FM Throwback festival here in Dallas. It was really cool seeing them live at event like this.

Nice little collection. Digging the flying V although I've always found them a little awkward to play myself. This weekend I'm converting the shop to a jam barn since the weather is finally right. I'll post a pic or 2 once I get it all moved out of the basement
