    Double Shocks #5649

Are they worth getting, and if so, how do I install them?
What can I do to... I mean WITH my Summit now?...

It's definitely worth changing the rear springs to the double orange ones. I did that and the new springs almost eliminate the sag under acceleration and at the same time, the suspension don't looses articulation. Changing the springs on the shocks is a well-ilustrated procedure in the truck's user manual, and it's not different from all the other shocks

It definitely HAS to be the double orange stripes, right?

Double orange is the heaviest Summit spring available... all other heavier ones are for the Revo, meaning the pre-load needs to be cranked way down and you will loose some suspension travel due to the spring bottoming out before the travel cycle is finished.

What rate is best depends on the user... that is a personal preference.
Whatever it is I just typed... could be wrong.
