    Hi,

I have a Summit with and DeWalt 820 14.4v motor.

    Ok, thanks a lot bud!

Is so slow this DeWalt, with 20T pinion and 62 spur can't go faster than 40km/h - 25mph!! I was expecting at least 50km/h 30 mph

    Speed runs, anyone?

    27T

    28T

    I'm joking, kinda...

    Edit:
    OMG I found a 32t 32p

On second thought, I'll bet none of these would even fit...

You could use those gears just for quick runs, I believe Northern Adventurer did high geared speed runs and pull around 40-45mph on Road Rages

Or a smaller spur gear, but it may overheating the ESC.

Not sure what's the maximum supported by the EVX-2 in terms of pinion and spur gear.
I guess the motor is pretty strong to handle them.

Did anybody any tests with bigger pinon than 20T and smaller spur than 62T on the DeWalt 820 14.4v ?
