How and can u tell if ur sleeve has gone bad on my 3.3 w/o taking it out? Is the piston supposed 2 reach the top of the sleeve or stop jus a lil short?
The easier way 2 tell w/o taking it out is to run the engine. Once it gets up 2 temperature if it stalls out and won't restart til it cools back down. That's a sign of a worn sleeve.

Also, remove the exhaust header and then turn the engine over until you see the piston skirt. If the bottom of the piston is gold instead of silver then you need a piston/sleeve swap.
