    My wife booked our cabin for the first week in April my vacation from work is the last full week of March. But it's still my fault somehow.

    Hey Crock I noticed the guy who originally posted about my Overkill on Rccrawlers forum was Zrock. Hmmmm just guessing here .

    Booked another cabin this time for the correct week . So if you see a blue Ford Expedition with something orange strapped to the top its Overkill. Just taking the 2 big Summits but hoping to come home with a third rc.

    Ended up bringing the Rustler and Rally as well. Rustler is down until we can get a new idler gear. Going up on the mountain today for a trail ride and picnic. Family took a ride in a real monster truck and helicopter yesterday .

    Hahah I saw those shafts and thought, "Wait a second something's not right here!?"

    So I googled SUMMIT FRONT AXLE SHAFT and found a picture from page 2 of this thread, it too me half the page to realize it was your build!

    Awesome =D

    That's funny . The stock long shafts worked on the short side but had to rig some up for the longer side with two blue boots.

    Twins had their own t-shirts air brushed. One of the shirts looks kinda familiar. The wife wouldn't let me put Traxxas Summiut OVERKILL on the back of it.

    I might of had a little fun but won't let the wife know. Would have been more fun if she let me bring home another rc . Almost had her talked into a new Axial Wraith Poison Spyder even though my plans were to get a brushed 4x4 Stampede until i saw the blue body on that Spyder.

    Same here mine hates it when me and the boys talk rc stuff. Yesterday was the first time I got to see a real hobby shop that had more then 5 rc's . So many beautiful cars and trucks I had to wipe the slobbers off my chin. All the wife could say was No No you just got a mini Summitt . I even tried painting one rc pink and black zebra striped for her which she drove once and now it just sets up on the shelf.

    RC4WD Interco Super Swampers and they are massive. I cut the smaller lugs for more traction and weight savings.

    Wife brought Overkill a crawling buddy home today she said they didnt have the Wraith Poison Spyder i wanted but this was the only crawler they had. She also stopped at a flea market and got a small New Bright Big Foot monster truck because it Summit Racing on it. Its small enough to fit in OVERKILL's bed .

    Cool! Have you tried editing your videos where you can add music but still hear the original sounds from the recording? To me, it makes the person watching the video really feel like they are right there with you! Kinda like you are driving along but with the radio on but not too loud.

    The mic on my IPhone must be full of crap because it doesn't pick up sound well at all. Maybe when I get a new phone I can try that though.

    One of the steering servos went out on my stock Summit so I took both out and put in one of the Savox servos for OVERKILL . The steering in both Summits worked great for about 20 min until the arm snapped on OVERKILLs bell crank . Been looking for a good aluminum on but so for only found 2 of them . One from Integy which I have never tried their parts because most people say they are junk. The other was from Hot Racing which I have had a couple of their parts and like Integy they look good but I was disappointed with the quality. So if anyone knows of a good replacement bell crank just let me know.

    Yesterday I flipped the bell crank over so I could reuse it while I find a good replacement. We took the Summits out for a trail run and my son while driving the stock Summit accidentally unlocked the rear diff while pulling the new trailer with the mini summit on it. We heard some clicking from the rear and by the time we made it back home to tear it down one wheel stopped pulling. He ended up breaking 3 teeth off the spider gears 1 off the ring rear and two of the 4 bolts that hold the ring gear on. So today I installed a new LEM aluminum diff cup and seals some self hardened spider gear and hot glued the rear diff.

    Today I took the Super Swampers off and put the stock ones back on so I wouldn't break the bell crank. I loaded my sons 3s Rustler onto the trailer and went to the nearest parking lot. About 15 minutes into beating the crap out of the Rustler it got pitch black and started hailing. I had to call the wife to come pick me up but I kept playing until she pulled up. She did however have few choice words for me playing in the storm. O well lesson not learned!!

    Ordered a servo saver for Overkill last week and installed it today. Its made from 7075 T6 heat treated aluminum so it should hold up. Everything went together nice and tight with no slop .

    I have the same... You'll like it, but you will need to check for those 2 screws, the trend to loosen after sometime.
