    Pushrod/Turnbuckle dimensions?

So I'd like to think this is an original idea but maybe it's not, and maybe it's even a bit silly... Anyway, I was wondering what are the odds of using pushrods from other vehicles in the MERV? Namely, I wouldn't mind saving some bucks and just getting some steel ones, a stock traxxas part, to put on from some other truck. I have an aluminum set currently, but I've bent them and broken the steering link so I'm back to red plastic there. I've looked through the exploded views and parts list and I can't get what the actual length, ball size, etc of on the stockers. I'm at work currently and I don't have a good caliper set to do any reliable measuring even if I was home.

There are lots of ways to do that. Most are wrong.
