    Jato Temperature

    Whats up guys.. Whats a good temperature to keep a jato at?

    I like 250 it seems to still smoke plenty and has good power.thats on sidewinder 20% fuel.
    nutty like a squirrel turd....!!!!!

    Ok thanks guys... An what are you guys using for temperatures? I got a traxxas on board is that good enough

    I use ryobi hand held temp gun. I got it from home depot.
    Jato 3.3, Revo .28 JL Max, Nitro Stampede 3.3

    Your on-board temp gauge should do the job.

    Remember not to necessarily tune by temps, you want to tune by performance. The only reason I check my temperatures is to ensure that my engine isn't overheating. Save for that, I go by performance (and ensuring that there's an adequate smoke trail, of course).

    @cooleocool thanks for the advice not gunna lie i was thinking about tuning it that way gunna take you advive deff....

    I think I paid $30 bucks for it. I don't tune by temps but it's nice 2 have. The one I have uses a 9v battery.

    Ima see if they have it. If they do im going to buy and i was think on tune that way but im deff not. I was just tryin to see how i can let the temp go
