Ya thats odd... My charger stops at 4.2.v ... what kind of charger is it??? Also i would discharge that extra current asap and rebalance it.. .. Over voltage will damage the cells..

How do you charge your lipos? fast charge/balance/etc? You should always balance charge your batteries..

Is the 12.73 volts a total for all 3 cells. That would be just right. I would check the battery with a cell checker and see what each cell is showing. If you have more than 4.2 volts per cell you should put the batteries on storage mode and reset them.

i don't have a cell checker. it should stop at 12.6volts. I balance it every time. I just discharged it and it worked fine. no puffing, it stayed cool.

ya.. 4.20 V per cell max.. 12.60 on a 3s... Keep an eye on the charging tho...... if your charger is continually overcharging the cell(s) it can damage the battery...

one of the cells is exceeding the voltage limit, This is the bad cell. the other two are lower,
    Eg. c1 = 4.1V. c2 = 4.1V. c3 = 4.3V= 12.5V but cell 3 has overcharged.
Have you noticed that the charging has been taking longer than what it used to take, and the length of time getting longer.

    defenently go with spc!

    hyperion eh
check out what mv rateing you have per cell ....it can be adjusted below or over 4.2v per cell and battery voltage has the same adjustments........also it could be the length of wires

Since they are not Traxxas lipos or charger(s) you'll need to contact the manufacturer for support of their products.
