I'm new to RC cars/trucks and received my first 2wd Slash for father's day. I love it. I ran my Slash today in some wet conditions, mostly on a crushed granite gravel path. I'm looking for some feedback on the best way to clean it after it gets muddy. I know it's water sealed, but wasn't certain if I could hose it off or what?

I put mine in the laundry tub and spray it with low pressure, I try to avoid the receiver box. Then I blow it off with compressed air and spray wd 40 on anything metal.
Canned air is a pretty good investment as well
Cheap and effective...
For cleaning your motor (if it is brushed). It can be found at WalMart and most auto parts store. Only buy the CRC in the red can. This one I have pictured or the Lectra-Motive.

A friend of mine sprays a light coat of Pam cooking oil on everything but the electrics ... then he hoses the truck off when he's done, and VOILA !!! CLEAN !!! Personally I've never tried it, but he swears by it.
I have a double bay sink just spray it with arm and hammer multi cleaner set it on top of the two bays and rince with spray hose then of course ask parents first I'm the parent and wash all our trucks this way and have the cleanest traps in my sink
Depends if its waterproof or not, with my truck I have to take off all the electronics and then I use our basement sink with straight water and a brush and get every crevice with that and then blow it all off with my air compressor.
