Good, you kept the roll bar, it makes a great handle. The ERBE could use a handle. Looks nice!

well, its no longer a handle bar I cut it in half so its more of a post but, its great to hold my battery/ESC wire lead.

I've decided to do what most everyone have done to their ESC fan by covering it with one of those window screen

so far I have run it 3 times at my front lawn, don't worry I will have a video posted soon. anyway, I added another chassis support, its really more of a weight balancer with my 4s on one side and the motor on the other side, its just not enough weight to counter balance so, I happen to keep my cut up t-maxx chassis.

this also give it an even square look

yes you can run 2 steering servo with the tekno kit, you just have to reconfigure how or where you can mount the receiver box since they have it designed to replace one of the steering servo, but a strong single steering servo like savox or hitec servos will do the trick plus it will lightened up the truck a lot you can do to lightened up the nitro REVO by taking out first gear and lock it on 2nd gear, if your tranny have reverse>>do the FOC, throttle/brake servo, brake mechanism. my truck when fully loaded, it weight at 11.8 lbs

Why do you use long shaft in the front but short shaft in the rear?? I think E REVO has the same length of front and rear shaft, doesn't it?

So did you just cut off the other side of the steering linkage? How much torque does that steering servo have? I have a Savox with 125oz torque.

Another question if I may. I'm going to start with the stock tranny for now and use a castle motor. What spur/pinion does anyone recommend to start with so the motor doesn't fry first time out?

believe it or not this is only the 2070 servo, will eventually upgrade later for a better high torque one

    I normally stock up with pinion and spur just incase (pinion 13T, 14T, & 15T / spur 36T, 38T, & 40T)

OK, I just finished greasing my driveshafts CV joints, I even open up and grease all my bearing carriers, thought that would eliminate the binding but, that didn't help at all. The binding only happens when all wheels on the ground and it gets heavy when the wheels are turn either left or right. I'm stumped right now......what gives?

it has this braking like feeling when I push the truck and it gets stronger if I turn the wheels to either left or right. pinion and spur are away from each other. it wont do it if all wheels off the ground.

it's been a year since i've visited this forum...congrats humay on ur build...it's nice to see that u still have the passion for it...

keep up the good work...ur an inspiration...

i've started working on my projects again...finished the 1/8th GT build...destroyed the tekin esc with 6s in about 10min after the completion of the build...was able to get one speed run at about 80+ mph (i'm thinking...didn't officially clock it)...

but seeing ur build here...definitely brings a smile to all my woes...

OK I find out what causes the problem, turns our the electrical tape that I roll at the neck area of the diff case start to move and fall in between the drive cup/ diff case. reason why I roll that tape was to give it a good snug fit.

so far so good. and by the way, here's what my first thought of locking 2nd gear before I went with XO-1 34T. I believe RC monster the only one that carry them,

what's great about this one is you can change gear of your choice 34T to 40T just make sure to pair the top gear also
what sucks about it is that it cost almost $30

maybe i'll show this to my bro maybe he can mill me one or two

I know your set-up has better balance, but I didn't know the balance is that good. How much does your battery weight?

I'm leaning to 40T. My motor is hot with 13/40T and stock wheel. I have to run with badlands.

I got the 4s lipo from hobbypartz http://www.hobbypartz.com/77p-sl5000-4s1p-40c-4444.html its always out of stock though.
then I counter balance it with that piece of aluminum chassis from my old t-maxx surprisingly it balance perfectly.
