I Bought 2 Brand New Onyx Lipos They Are 2s 8000MAH 35C. I Got 2 Of Them When I Got My ERBE Along With 2 Hitec X1 Chargers. 2 Weeks Ago On Monday. I Have About 8 Cycles Through Both Batteries. They Both Charge To Just About The Same MAH. Example ONLY: 1st Batt= 5400 MAH Pushed Back In And 2nd Batt= 5480 MAH Back In. Now All Of A Sudden They Loose Power VERY Fast, Loose Power Within 15 Min. I Can Still Drive But I Can Tell A Big Difference In Performance. On My Telementry When I Nail The Throttle I Can See The Volts Go Down To About 13.8-14.5 Before It Would Not Do That. Also Since Its Been Doing That The Motor Gets About 20F Hotter. I Am Able To Get About 15 Min Of Great Performance Then Its Just Crap. I Can Still Get About 45 Min Out Of Them. But Less Performance.
Anything I Can Do To See What The Heck Is Wrong ???
Both Batteries Still Hold A Charge
I Balance Charge Every Other Charge @ 6 Amps And Fast Charge On The Other Time @ 6 Amps
Motor Temp 150-160 F <<<<<<<<<<<<
Esc Temp 115-135F <After 40 Min Runs.
Any Ideas Please. I Just Spent Almost $200 For These Lipo's. THANK YOU !!!
I would contact the vendor/manufacturer.
Have you done an individual cell check? It would only take one bad cell..........
Not Sure How To Do That ?
Plug them into your charger and see which cell is causing the problems, not sure what charger you use but if you are balancing every charge it must give you individual voltages from the balance cable.
Signature removed due to excess awesomeness.
Unfortunately this issue has nothing to do with Traxxas products. You need to contact the manufacturer on this one for support of their product. Traxxas does not allow this type of tech support for other companies products on this forum.
