My esc won't turn off when it reaches lipo cutoff point

I have to unplug the batteries to turn it off. Am a bit baffled. Any help would be appreciated.

Everything is how it is supposed to be. You have to unplug batteries.

Yeah I think it is designed to make you unplug your batts rather than just being able to turn it off and back on potentially causing damage

Yep, mine does the same. Funny, I was wondering if it was supposed to be like that just a few days ago, ha ha.

Was a bit concerned because I don't remember my Maxx doing it with the same esc.

Yep! Any version sold with in the last 8 months SHOULD have a LVD built in to the esc. So, ya, just plug in and play!

+1 what Wolf said. Just make sure to activate it. A friend destroyed his lipo in his slash, didn't know you had to activate the LVD. Worse yet he never unplugged the battery. I believe that is why when the LVD activates they want you to unplug the batteries so the esc doesn't drain down the lipos to death mode.
