    Xo-4

I seen some hybrid type cars built in this forum and I did'nt know if there was a place here for custom built traxxas rc car's. I have a 1/10 traxxas nitro car that I converted to a mm2 brushless setup using XO-1 parts. I can post pics later on if this thread does'nt delete....Trust me when I say it's very trick.

that's pretty slick, nice job!! I like your polished mounting plate. did you have that laser cut from scratch or did you modify the xo mounting plate?

The motor mount is a stock xo-1 part, I de-anodized all my metal parts just to be different. The car drives great, the only issues I've had were, diff grease being slung all over the car on the first run(I had to take the car apart and seal the diffs)and dreadful power wheelies.

Just changed my gearing configuration from a 41/29(1.41) to a 37/34(1.08), I added a static run video for kicks....enjoy.

The car is alot more driveable after I changed my pinion and added the foams, before I did that... it was a handfull to drive. I got a gps coming saturday, but I'm just using it to find a good tune along with my castle link. I will add another vid later on...thanks.

Nice runs! Please tell me you had a GPS on it. If so, how fast did you get it up to?

I've been testing my car on a 6s setup lately and I must say that I may never go back to a 3s setup. This car really moves like it has nitrous to it, but along with going to a 6s setup I started having to deal with blow over....So I added a jato wheelie bar and the problem was fixed.

Sorry, but all of the pics I post on here vaporize after a while but... I'm cool with that. I mean giving info out to build a missile is a serious deal, it's just a land missile.

Many have asked me about the speed these car have and honestly I never radar my cars. However, I do have my friend that just went 101mph on 4s! Nuff said...Here's his video http://youtu.be/gjpZYLu7lUs.

Outlaw... All I can say is WOW... That is some sick speed... I am not certain I can duplicate that even though I have the hardware in my XO-1 Leopard 5882 CCXL2 Hybrid... That thing is insane... congrats on an excellent build...Have not seen anything online that can come close for the class you runnin... Thanks for the vid...

Thanks...it's been 2 years since I first mounted the xo-1 components to the traxxas 1/10 nitro car and these cars are finally getting some press for what they are. This is a video I did about the evolution of the cars...http://youtu.be/dw6ZyitWFDI?list=UUV...1Y-iZoz0i47NCA
