    Going nitro.?

I just picked up a xo1 roller last week and was showing it to a buddy.
    He asked a good question.
Has anyone ever thought of throwing a nitro setup into an xo1?

He really got me thinking. I'm building mine to rave not go 100 mph only.
It would be cool to try.

    Any thoughts?

Can't get this idea out of my head... Lol
I have an old 1/8 basher buggy laying around I'm thinking of picking up a spare xo1 chassis plate and swapping everything over.
Only real issues would be cooling the motor, some kind of breaking system and Body mods.
The xo1 body would probably cover the entire motor, and cutting holes in the windshield to alow air flow to motor I might as well put wings on it.

But hey so far I haven't spent a dime on my car (love cl trades)
If I swap my nitro parts in I'd just need bigger motor.
Don't think a. 21 will cut it. Must go big block.

The air duct will cool the motor as the car is moving. Maybe come up with a fan setup to cool it while it's not moving or at low speeds.

I think the air duct has to be remove for the tuned pipe to be on that area. you might be able to use the revo 3.3 or t-maxx brake system you just have to find a way on how you going to mount it. I have a XTM 247 and when I have that on my t-maxx it destroyed my CVD's lol.

Yup my going nitro with it. Going to make custom body (I've done it with 1/10 before)
Its gona be a heck of a build. Going with a new 3.3 Jato motor to get it rolling and will go bigger if needed.
Might run a Ofna center chunk for brakes. If the baja disk brakes won't fit under rims.
I'm gona do a video/photo blog of the build as parts state arriving.
    I love custom builds

My buddy Mike (the evil genius behind idea)
    Just txtd me good idea.
Take the existing chassis plate from my hyper 7 and just cut off everything not related to the motor.
And bolt that directly to my xo1 chassis.

Yeah I'm not getting any sleep tonight.

Hello..... I was going to start a new thread, but thought I'd bump this one up. Anybody get anywhere with this idea? I received my RTR XO-1 yesterday. I also started to receive the parts to build a XO-1 roller. I would really like to try and build a nitro version.
    Thanks...
