    Exclamation Clicking and Grinding Servo

Was driving my truck a couple of weeks ago and heard loud, grinding, clicking noises. Scared the fudge out of me when I heard it and has been grinding ever since. The truck has been out of use since then and I need help because I really want to drive again!

    Thanks for your help!

Sounds like it could possibly be the servo gears, they are cheap and easy to replace. Open it up and have A look.

If it is the servo, $3-4 fix... but I still suggest an upgrade. Blue Bird 390, Hitec 5085, and Corona... ?? I am sure someone will chime in with that part number.

If it is not the servo, it is probably the ring and pinion gear.
Whatever it is I just typed... could be wrong.

Def servo. Having the same issue. I opened up the box and I have no teeth that are worn down. I'm waiting on one from Traxxas via warranty. I stockpiled a few from ebay. After I go through these, I'm definitely upgrading to the Hitec. Youtube a video regarding the hitec, you'll need to make some simple modifications for it to fit/work.

Ok, so I emailed Traxxas and hopefully they will replace under warranty. I def hope it's not the ring and pinion.

Had the same problem with my stock servo after about 8 packs. Replaced it with the hitec and has been flawless through 20 and countless crashes =) Some slight Dremel work to get it to fit as mogibbs mentions, but a lot less time consuming then replacing stock ones frequently

    Found It!

I think I found the problem!

Ordered new gears. Should be in about a week from now.
