what to take to the track

Okay another newbie here, getting a Slash 4x4 ultimate, hopefully this week.

my plan is after some learning, to run some novice races.

My question is what parts/supplies should I get for back up to bring along. I had figured on a second battery, but don't want to be foolish and just buy a lot of stuff....although I'm sure that will happen over time.

again I am just wanting to keep things running to get some track time, not looking to set the world on fire.

    4 batteries
1 extra set of TX batteries
    Charger -Hyperion 0601i
    Truck stand
    Tools
    - good hex set
    - good pliers set
    - Wheel wrench
    Zip ties

    Spare Parts
    - Good assortment of hex screws

To be honest all I bring is obviously my truck 2 batteries so when 1 is charging I drive and my necessary tools I don't bring spare parts because my lhs owns the track and its indoor so if I break something then just go buy it

Not everyone has a huge disposable income to buy parts as they break. The track i race at is indoor and has a full service hobby shop as well. If you have spare parts at home and they will fit in your track/travel box then why not bring them. Sometimes when going to sanctioned races there is no hobby shop so gotta bring what you think you may need.
