For an all stock narrow 3906 in good shape, $50.
    Look out for the tree/crunch!

I would say a stock widemaxx 3906 with good motors and decent(7.2v nimh, 4000mah or more) batteries, I would pay 75-100

Have you guys looked at Ebay recently? People are going nuts over there lol, a feeding frenzy I tell you. This is only one of several I saw listed and I can almost guarantee someone will buy it. I'm picking up a narrow 3906 today, with two bodies, charger, batteries for $200. That's why I was looking.
Traxxas EMaxx 3906 with Digital charger and 2 extra bodies with lights!
    Starting bid:
    US $350.00
    Price:
    US $400.00

    batteries worth nothing,
    Charger worth nothing,
    complete stock 3906 $75
    Lights $10
    Extra shells $30.
It is clean, so for the lot as is $150 not including shipping.

Most are upgraded, which bumps the price up, you could be waiting a year for a deal to come along

Right, and they are worth more parted out. So a $75 one is a rare find. I see the motors and ESC go for that.

The motors go new i think $20 each, Used they maybe fetch $2-10
The orange esc maybe $20 tops.
The ones you'll find that hold the prices are the evx2 esc with rpm arms.
The other hop ups are a bonus.
    like steel idlers,new diffs,new shafts,2.4 radio, new bulks/towers, maybe new servo's

Lol, I agree, I know what they are worth to me, not what I see people give for them, which is to say, what ever the market will bear lol. I personally think a whole lot of price gouging goes on with anything to do with this hobby lol. I got my truck in, might have a bad esc on it, will I spend money to go back stock/ brushed, not on you're life lol. Though brushed would be fine, if I can get it to work for a few bucks. I'm going to look now for one of those $20 orange esc's, in case that is what is wrong. If their more than $20, next week I'll go brushless, and dump 1/2 a pound off the truck.

Nope, no Traxxas ESC's for $20 on Ebay. Where's this $20 esc place at?

there old outdated esc's most would end up in trash or tool box as spare as they're ok as a backup. The bec voltage are 5V unlike the 6V for the evx2's.

Yeah I read they tend to catch on fire or just die. Too bad Traxxas doesn't offer a good mid price esc/ mtr BL E Maxx setup. The cost to replace this esc with Traxxas is cost prohibitive. Guess I need to look over "there" lol.

If you are putting a brushless set up in the 3906 it could/will be costly.

Trade in old equipment: powerup to MMM... but putting a MMM in a 3906 aint good... So sell it and ull make enough to get ur EVX-2 and come out around even, i think.
This parrot is NO MORE!!! This is an ex-parrot!!!
