    Ultimate traxxas car

I was trying to figure out the best car traxxas could make and I came up with this:
    E-Revo Platinum Edition.

It would be an e revo brushless with the two speed trans and locking diffs from the summit and all the aluminum hop ups from traxxas. What do you guys think would be the best car they could make?

That would be closer to a "Summit Brushless Edition"

Two speed trans? I think the mm would tear that apart.
Ultimate truck would probably be a slash 4x4 with a mm2 All met geared servo Spektrum radio system, all rpm upgrades and mip axles and losi zombie max tires on 17mm rims

I think the rally would be the better option, good both on and off road all the option parts and the xo1 electronics, shafts, and diffs. Titanium geared servo....

Then again...E-Slayer Ultimate has a nice ring to it. Their could be an on road edition and offroad edition.

If it were the same style transmission as the old e-maxx you could shift into fast speed or slower speed, just not while driving, I would be most impressed if there was a low gear that locked a center differential. I think what traxxas needs is an E-revo with a LCG aluminum chassis, heavier duty differentials and a few more aluminum option parts. I'll bet an LCG E-revo with XO-1 tires could hit 100MPH with the bigger mamba system.

I really dont think an ERBE with locking diffs and 2 speed would be ultimate at all. it would be nothing but issues. I like the ERBE platinum idea... I just like the idea of some traxxas aluminum upgrades for the ERBE.

I definitely think the E-Revo chassis is a good starting point though.

5th scale Slash 4X4.....ohhh yea it would probably be between $1000-1200 i think it would be awesome especially with Neu-Castle 2028-780kv motor and the XL2 ESC...talk about a fast Slash!!

Picking the ultimate Traxxas RC is like picking the ultimate flavor of ice cream, we all have our favorites. I will agree that a EREVO with a two-speed tranny and locking diffs that wouldn't granade themselves under BL power would be a beast, I wouldn't consider the 'Ultimate' for myself. A 4x4 Slash with the new LCG chassis, factory options all the way around with a MMM at its heart, now we are getting somewhere!

...by the way, Rocky Road is the ULTIMATE flavor of ice cream!

I'd settle for traxxas just dropping the velineon systems and going all Castle. They're part of the way there already. They could easily waterproof the MMP. Having the slash 4x4 come with a MMP/3800 combo stock would be fantastic.

Aside from that, I guess my ultimate traxxas vehicle is almost already made. A slash 4x4 ultimate LCG, but with a thicker body, stronger driveshafts, an MMP/3800 combo (larger 4-pole motors would then be drop-in), larger bearings, and Velcro battery straps.

Nice! It's amazing what dropping a 1/8 scale motor in a slash 4x4 does to it. My bashing motor is the CC 2650 (3800 for racing). Talk about ear-to-ear grins. In the slash 4x4, I do prefer the 2650 versus the 2200. It still has way more than enough power, plus I can't gear the 2200 high enough to go faster than the 2650.
