    wheel wobble

So I notice that i have a bad wobble on the wheels on my 4x4, is this normal. It is not as bad when it is on the ground but, if i lift it off the ground it is bad, makes the whole truck shake pretty bad. I checked to make sure evrything is straight and tight. The truck is only three weeks old and just replaced the rear axle shafts with MIP x duty axles. with out the truck running there is quit a bit of slop in the rear wheels, the front has some slop to, but not as much as the rear. Somtimes it does it somtimes it does'nt. Is there anything to fix this or is this just part of owning a stampede.

Yup, check the big bearing inside the hub carrier. They like to shred. Also the hub carrier plastic could be withering away (this happened to me just last week)

Or the Stub axle can develop some slop in it as well.

Balancing your tires can also prolong the bearings. A set of aluminum hexes, can help the trueness of rotation. None of this will help, with out new bearing. Check for bent stub axles.

Well, I know its not bent stub axle Just put new MIP's on and they are strait. I checked the bearings and they look good also. One thing i did notice was water inside my wheels, along with some of the glue coming apart on the wheel/tire beads. I think that might be why they are wobbling bad. I will get the water out, reglue and see if it geta any better. Do you think this could be the culprate.

Ya, water filled foams and un-glued tires will FOR SURE cause the wobble you've been having. Glad you finally found it!
Is owning 25 RC's too many?... Nope!

Not sure which bearings could be causing this...I tried working the tire inserts back into shape and I looked at the bearing near the slipper so far...it looked ok

12 packs is enough to get bad bearings, especially if they got wet.

There's lots of opinions on that. I clean and check mine fairly often, so I just go the cheap route. I buy the cheap rubber-sealed ones on eBay. They've always worked great for me.

Boca bearings are one of the best out there, but they are baller bearings. I will repeat that again, baller bearings.

Avid bearings are second best IMHO.

Btw, here's jang's 'Spensive Boca Bearings update:
