As with most slashes, the stock setup/springs make for a pretty wonky ride. Any tips for getting a nice setup?
Some nice shocks and tires a Must........ Then you can go from there.
Right on, I picked up Traxxas big bores today and was surprised at how much of a difference there was. The stock shocks seem 'spongy', while the BBs glide. I also got the Pro-Line Protrac kit, mainly for the rims, but the rear shock tower doesn't fit so I only did the front end. My LHS didn't have any linear springs, so I went with stock in the front and some proline dual stages for the back (note: you will need the spring retainer from the stock shock along with a larger bottom retainer to use these. I took some from my dead losi SCTE) with 30 weight oil. Big improvement, and I might keep the stock springs in the front since their progression is far less pronounced than my previous electric slashes. Haven't had much runtime but I might stick with this.
Also got PL caliber 2.0 tires, much better, but goodbye orange rims ;_;
