    Fuel

    has anyone ran traxxas 33% fuel in their slayer pro if so I had someone tell me you have to raise the head with a spacer to make it work is that true

    I ran the 33 in a tmax 2.5 and a savage 5.9 with no issues. Changed fuels had to much problems with oil soaked one way bearings.

    I ran 30% in my stock Slayer 3.3, with no issues. You should be fine.

    do you think it was the fuel and what did you go back to , maybe it was tuned to rich?

    i personally like the 20% i run that in all of my truck savage .25 t maxx 2.5 and my slayer 3.3 and they all are tuned perfectly and need tires on the slayer their done lol
    I'm hittin' easy street on mud tires.

    sorry maybe i was not clear on my post i just want to know if you have to shim your head to run 33% nitro on a 3.3
