As most of you have already seen, Here is my 1991 RAD 2....
Here is what happens when you get bored on a Saturday night......
Figure since I had a spare VXL-3m on hand - better give it a good home. So, I fabricated a 380 brushless motor plate using the existing plate as a template and just made the motor holes smaller to fit the 380! Pretty nifty if you ask me. Everything bolts up normal and I can change it back to vintage stock at a moments notice. Here is a picture before I bolted the motor guard back in place.
Oh what fun
and the last bit of tasty kibble......the mini summit with 2 batteries in it ways more than this with a full size 6 cell battery!

Man that's a cool piece of work! How does it perform with the 380 sized motor?
Bullet/Bullet2 / Hawk2/ Blue Eagle/E-Maxx/T-Maxx
I built it with a hack saw, a hand file, a drill and a dremel for final sanding
i'm really shocked how much kick it has for a 380 on nimh batteries. I'll get some running videos hopefully this week
I cant wait....
Land of the free?
Hard as heck to film with an Iphone while driving but I managed to get a little rip video for ya. This is a 2s lipo as my 6 cells were dead.
I keep breaking the old brittle white plastic, I think I'm going to call this project a success and make it original and set it on a shelf.
