    Question Shock Disassembly

    Hey guys,

There's no exploded view for my big-bore shocks, and I'm wondering how to pull them apart to use stiffer springs.

I looked inside the shock barrel, and there's a teensy, tiny little E-clip in there. Please tell me I don't have to pull that off, because I don't think there's a tool on this planet tiny enough get it back on...

I have the stock white progressive springs and a set of extra stiff copper ones that I want to try...

Pull back on the spring and retainer from bottom and lift the spring retainer off the end then slide it over through the slot off the shaft. Hope this makes sense to you. You dont have to take out the e-clip. I put those copper springs on my bigbores too. You will like them.

Thanks brother! If it doesn't make sense when I try again, I'm headed to the LHS anyway today...
