Less than one hour on truck and broke both lower and upper left front suspension arms. Replaced, and now there is no steering. Servos both work, but something keeping it from turning in either direction. It does turn slightly more towards the side with the new suspension arms. Help!
I went through this the other day on mine...something is probably binding. Did you over-tighten something in a steering linkage / servo savers? There are numerous screws that might be the culprit...
P.S. -- welcome to the forums!
Make it idiot-proof and along comes a better idiot
You might have the pillow ball caps too tight. They should be adjusted just tight enough to take out the slop but not so tight that the axle carrier can't turn freely.
Take the toe link off when adjusting the pillow ball caps so you can tell when they are too snug. Keep moving them side to side
Thanks ya'll. I will re-check the tightness of everything. I will try taking off the toe link before adjusting the pillow ball caps.
Gracias ya'll! I did exactly what you said, 50togo, and all is good. I am a happy driver.
Glad to help!
