    Website to get cheap...

    My jconcepts ford raptor body will be arriving this week and this will be my first painted body.

    Which website do you guys recommend to get cheap body/lid spray paint?

    my local hobby shop is the cheapest, cause i dont have to pay for shipping.. otherwise i did try ebay once. i just looked for the cheapest shipper.

    What spray paint brand did you use? Tamiya?

    ive used tamyia, and pactra with good results on both. the tamyia is a bit better. its like better air flow/pressure in the can.

    i hope your first paint job turns out ok. my first paint job my brother told me just hold spray can a minimum of 12 inches away from object being painted. im still no pro, but i never had a runny paint job.

    I have put cans of paint in some hot water a few minutes before using them... it helps increase can pressure and atomizes the paint better.

    Hot as in hot-from-the-faucet... not from the stove.
    Whatever it is I just typed... could be wrong.

    I'll take my time with the coats. Spray on, let dry then come back. I'll take your advice on holding the spray can a min of 12 inches away.
