I was at my track with my revo vxl and I broke a part. I broke the axle carrier on one of my wheels. Should I replace them with the RPM version since I have the RPM a arms or what other one should I replace it with?
I would definitely replace it with rpm. All four of mine are rpm and i have not had a problem with them
The RPM's are definitely superior to the stock ones.
I'll be putting them on 3 of my 1/16 cars soon.(the Merv already has billet ones)
"Dude,I almost had you"
R.I.P Paul Walker
I wouldn't buy rpm carriers. The large bearing seat gets ovaled out and develops slop over time
Go for aluminum like gh or gpm
Okay cool guys. Thanks for your input. What other parts should I get for my merv??
What about hot racing?
Those should work. Thought you said you were getting rid of the car. Change your mind?
Hot racing is ok but they have a round pillow ball seat and gh and gpm are square. Some have had pillow balls pulling through when worn
haha yes I changed my mind. I was just really frustrated but once I figured out what had happened and fixed it I realized that what I had to do to my car would probably be the hardest thing I would have to do besides rebuilding the whole car from a serious crash which that would be from me being dumb and crashing it into a brick wall
I would pretty much buy everything RPM makes for the MERV and put it on, I'm really happy with all my RPM gear. And a T-bone kit
What is a t bone kit?
No this is a T bone!
Can we all get a reason for this delicious looking steak appearing on this thread? It seems just a slight bit off topic.
Im guessing T-BONE LOL
MERV, Broken Alias.
We have a winna'
My Tbone skid held my truck together and nothing broke when I slammed into a semi wheel laying on the ground at work. The impact did bend my motor plate but nothing on the truck broke.
They are amazing. Only down side is if you need to work on the truck you typicaly need to take it off and that means every darn screw on the bottom it coming out.
