    Question Body Shell

Has anyone put a E-Savage or a Savage body on a Summit? If so what kind of alterations had to be made. Also wondering if the T-Max body will fit

    Thanks a head of time.

I have attempted to put a Summit body on an eMaxx... the Summit was too long by about 2 inches.
Whatever it is I just typed... could be wrong.

So guess what you are telling me Jimmie is the E-Max body will be about 2 inches to short.

Still would like to hear if anyone has tried a Savage body on a Summit and what modifications had to be made if any.

    In theory, yes.
We are assuming that the tMaxx and eMaxx have the same dimensions.

I would like to know about the Savage body as well.

EMBE and T Maxx 3.3 bodies are slightly short.
Proline bodies made for the Losi LST/ LST2 are a good fit with minimal trimming.
Whatever body you choose, try to find one with a 13.5" wheelbase and 20" overall length.
Anything shorter would be equivilant to wearing high water pants.

I accidentaly did this yesterday and made it permanent today. This is on my Erevo but I'm also mocking one up on my summit. I like the looks of it.

Savage xl works but is slightly longer. I had to extend the front bumper mounts to have it fit.

Been on almost every major RC companies web page trying to find a shell that is at lest 20" long and 8.5" wide.
Find them about the right length and then are about a inch to narrow. Also hard to find specs on all the body shells, not many are willing or to lazy to post those on their web page, TH (TowerHobbies) does about the best job at giving specs.
The Savage XL bodies that I liked was almost 2.5" to long LOL But did find two Parma bodies and am trying to decide which one to get.
Might help anyone else that is looking for a alternative body so will post the two that where found, both are Parma bodies and 1/8 scale.

Not sure which one I'm going with yet as still trying to figure out some fitment problems might have do to all the alterations on my, specifically the rear steering system.

You're better off with the E Maxx body actually. The T Maxx body has cut outs for the engine cooling head
exhaust tip and fuel tank. Unecessary and kinda funky looking on an electric model.

Body isn't as nice as other pics. Alot of the black paint is gone and there are quite a few cracks in it.
