Has anyone tried this? I will be trying this weekend
I wish I could drift like that...
Thrash It, Bash it, Break it, No Regrets!!!
He is pretttttyyyyy good at that
You ain't bashin unless your crashin!!
I tried watching his vids. To bad you cant understand him As for his drift mod, ya I dont know what he did..lol. he has tons of drift cars. Tons...
Build, Bash, Clean, Repair, Repeat..
There really werent any "mods"
-He change the shocks to 80wt Im pretty sure it said and,
-He rubber-banded a tin with X number of 4.5g weights and tuned it in.
Exactly, also weighted the front. Trying tonight thinking that might be the simplest way to offset the high center of gravity.
Correct, he had 2 tins with 4.5g weights.
But I really dont see how this car get its "high cg" claim?
The car is very stable, although it drifts better to one side, that can easily be countered. I loved my Rally. And since getting a 1/10, I traded off some stuff for another to have a Mini-me., I cant wait to have it back.
Oh I agree she is stable and a fantastic all around platform. Compared to my hpi rs4 drift (belt driven ultra low cg) she has much more body roll. The motor seems too high for the small wheels.
You dont have to tell me about those. I just traded a Pro 2 roller myself. Looking for a TC3 or XXX-S.
but these cars are fun an quite the little rocket. I dont think drifting was ever an aim for these car until the Ken Block versions were released.
Wow great minds, huh? What mods worked for you?
orange dot springs rear, stock fronts. and some slick tires are a pretty basic setup I use. Never messed with diff fluids or shock oil. Probably would improve the technique though.
i can do that to just as long as im on a polished concret floor no mod required
