In that position you should have two in the front side of the back and two in the front.

    G'day mate...thanks for the feedback .

I heard mixed reviews about the Traxxas CVD's bending and twisting and even the MIPs. I still use Summit long shafts on my eRevo as they serve me well with the occasional one breaking. I have an arsenal of Summit shafts.

The LST CVD's may serve you better...there is a bit of mods requires to get it to work. Fusion posted some pics of his in post #40. He is using RPM axle carriers (knuckles) with his...I think you need to counter bore a bigger on on each side of the knuckle for the required bearing. I may look at this option myself in the future.

Ya I am going to look into the lst shafts but I think I need to ditch these stupid tires they are to big which I think is a huge factor of why this cvd broke what do you recommend for a great bashing tire I don't like anything to big or chrome. I think my favorite tires ever where my savage 25 tires. Will they hold 6s power

You should have gotten them seperate to tape them, they will balloon and pop very quickly without it on 6s.

offset rims are normally harder on the bearings but if you look at revo offset rims they are actually just about dead even in the center of the rim.now on my merv they are a true offset but then i have boca yellow seal ceramics on both

getting video today my parts came in i fixed it and just got done beating it pretty hard. and by the way 50togo the wheels they sent were 1/2" offset and your right they are dead center of the rim and they dont balloon at all because of the such low profile. and im not doing speed runs never even get over 45 mph probly. man it was so nice to get a set of batts through it without it braking

yep ive got this great bashing spot its a concrete mixing facility so its giant dunes of sand great fun but the fine silica dust is bad for bearings cant wait to get a vid up. and ya its very minor balloning

If you break another set of shafts the lst mod is great. I run 6s 99% of the time and they still look perfect. I just followed mistercrashs build thread on it and it was simple. Just get a step drill and the the bigger bearing and your set.
Nice pics too that place looks like a blast to bash at.

just be weary that with rpm a arms and losi axles sometimes if u have a side impact on front wheels
it miht flex the a arms enough where it bends the axle
have had it happen afew times
i bought 8 losi axles originally so i have spares
i run rc monster drive cups
    rpm a arms
    std carriers front
    rpm locked toe carriers rear

i run 2 bearings on the inside of the carriers to push the axle back into the drive cup
also occassinally the rear axle pops out of drive cup when the rpm a arms flex when doing cart wheels

so in the end there is no perfect solution to the good old beating a dead horse question
the diff and driveline is under par so if most dont like it buy another brand of car
its only way traxxas might listen to you all as they dont listen to upgrading the erevo screams from all of us

Ya they problem I'm having is them bending very very easily and then snapping the pins how easily do the losi shafts bend or are they pretty tuff
